This is a small scale demo of the screen saver you can download for free.
In order to save space, the dimensions of the screen have been made smaller, the snoring soundtrack has been deleted, and only six of the ten fonts are
activated. Keep in mind that the text is positioned randomly,
so the screen may be blank from time to time.

If you want to install this as an actual screen saver, download the control panel.
If you'd like a self-playing version, download the demo.

The fontBoy screen saver uses quotes from Mark Bartlett's essay,
"Beyond the Margins of the Page" accompanied by a soundtrack of snoring.
It randomly connects nine quotes with seven typefaces
(two of which are unreadable), and randomly places the quote on screen.
The quotes, commenting on the cultural significance of graphic design, contrast
with the mundane everyday activity of making work.
The quotes flash too quickly to read at first glance. Over time, as the same
quotes appear again and again, they begin to acquire a kind of sense.
After all, if the screen saver is operating, doesn't that mean you
should be working? Or at least taking a nap?
